How these films are made
Research begins from primary and archival sources: the Library of Congress, Wikimedia Commons, the Internet Archive and national records. Figures cited on screen are drawn from published accounts, contemporary reporting and official documents, and are listed in each video's description so viewers can check them independently.
Narration is produced with a licensed synthetic voice built from the creator's own recordings. Archival material is used under the terms of its respective public-domain or Creative Commons licence, and is edited transformatively into original analysis.
